I can't believe how quickly it's gone by. I can feel the first small signs of Fall each morning when I go out to walk my dogs. Sometimes it's a scent in the air, other times a fallen leaf from one of the first trees to change each Fall and drop their leaves (Tulip Poplar).
This month is very surreal for me, because there's now less than 30 days until my dear son leaves home for the US Air Force. I've known for the last year that he'd be leaving to enlist, but we were navigating the enlistment process, doing research, training, getting waivers, and all of that stuff!
I've been homeschooling my son for the last 7 years, and with that now complete and him going off into the world, it's bringing a lot of change for Aromaleigh, as well. I've been working at transitioning Aromaleigh in many ways, to be poised for the future. I've brought back some beloved products, and have plans to start formulating new concept collections and expand the foundation line.
August will be spent on some of those projects, and on the home front- finishing up all of the last minute things that require two people to handle, as well as spending some quality time together as family. I can't quite believe that I'll be an empty nester soon!
How are you spending the rest of your summer? Are you looking forward to Fall as much as I am?
